The entire Canucks roster under-acheived. They lost in the SC finals last year because their forwards weren't scoring or capitalizing on their chances. And the same is said for this year...their defense did not step up and guys like Kesler actualy stepped down by acting like a fool and doing what he's now know to do best...dive and whine. Shame too, cause he's a damn good player when he's not crying.

Schneider is going to be a damn good goalie and the VAN fans are just super pumped to see him get the #1 job. But in doing that I think you're right, the're forgetting how good Luongo can be.

In the end, I'm mildly interested in the Leafs getting him, hate his 10 years remaining but he would definitely be the easiest route to the playoffs for the Leafs. Although if he struggled to start the year, Toronto fans would rip him apart.

I think the fact that it came from TSN is what gives it the credibility.

I think Luongo will be a great fit on the Leafs if he gets traded there...

But, Leaf fans, don't expect to get him for a couple scrubs. Nobody is taking Lombardi, Connoly, Komi, or Phaneuf....

It's going to cost you a top prospect and a pick or instead of an established player.

I think Joe Colbourne and Schenn for Luongo and Raymond...

Leafs will make the playoffs with that and still have their #1 pick to grab Galeyenchuk

Sure, but no one really knows it's all speculation. TB makes sense because he has family in Florida and his dad owns a restaurant. TO makes sense because they are on every list. But we will never really know what the true list is.

That's fun to talk about but completely irrelevant. No chance he's bought out. His contract was clearly created with retirement in mind.

Then have fun with Reimer next year...

Going to be an interesting summer for sure for the Leafs. They can either stick to the rebuild or blow their load on a bunch of vets... But the status quo can't be the plan for next year.

The plan for next year will end up being status quo except for a few minor moves
